"How-To Get Paid & FREE TV Exposure for Your Commercials"

  • The challenge:
    Let us say you would like to really be seen on many of our tv stations but your current budget is blue collar.
  • The solution:
    Then get paid to promote some business that is not already on TV.
  • The details:
    Offer to split the costs 50/50 for letting you star in their commercial. Design an easy to film ad with your sponsor (partner) somehow involved.
    Someone has to film this, perfect the script, maybe storyboard it, edit the re-takes, add any graphics and special effects. The more of this you can do yourself, (but charge your partner!) the less it costs YOU to be on TV. Help is always available here!

    Since there is no biz like show biz, use your camcorder to help clinch the sale. Film as much as you can BEFORE approaching your prospect. Use a similar facility out of town, or one you made on a set in your garage. Show your 30-60 second demo to them using the viewing window in your camcorder. If your prospect is interested, then all you are left talking about is technical details and the costs involved. Do this right and not only will you get paid but it will cost you nothing to be on TV! Find a list of prospects to sell your idea to, and depending on how well you use TV to promote your story told your way...
